Journey?
i’m toby, a minimum wage employee, and in 15 years i’ll be retired.
i’m 26 with:
no house,
no car,
no qualifications
and yet through steady investments, i’ll build a portfolio to support a life of champagne and sunsets.
this is the Journey - i hope you enjoy!
The Race to 300k…
for the first 10 years or so, i’ll be investing every penny i can to reach the 300k milestone. with enough luck, i might even get there sooner!
the aim is 20k a year, or 5k every quarter: it will be tough going, and i might not hit every target, but if you aim high then falling slightly short doesn’t matter so much.
the money will be spread across two ventures, with 2/3 going into the s&p 500 index fund, and 1/3 to speculate on crypto-currency markets.
from this i expect a 10% average yearly return.
